Belgstrew is a bakery specialising in 100% eggless customised cakes.

Our website allows customers to view our products, place orders, request customised cakes, make payments, and arrange store pickup or delivery.

Our online store is powered by Shopify.

4. Our Cakes & Product Information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that the photographs, descriptions and information on our website accurately represent our products.

However, cakes are handmade products.

The final cake may have minor differences from photographs or reference designs, including differences in:

• Placement of decorative elements
• Packaging
• Other handmade details

These differences do not necessarily mean that the product is incorrect.

Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your screen, device and display settings.

5. Custom Cake Designs

Custom cakes are prepared according to the design, instructions and information provided by the customer.

If you provide us with a reference photograph, the photograph is used as a design reference and does not necessarily mean that the final cake will be an exact replica.

We may make reasonable changes to a design where necessary because of ingredient availability, decoration availability, cake stability, food safety or the practical requirements of creating the cake.

For elaborate, tiered or large-format cakes, we may require additional preparation time.

6. Cake Flavours, Ingredients & Allergies

Our cakes are 100% eggless.

Customers are responsible for informing us about any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements before placing an order.

Our products are prepared in a bakery environment where different ingredients are handled. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that our products are completely free from traces of every allergen.

If you have a food allergy or specific dietary concern, please contact us before placing your order so that we can advise you about the available options.

7. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are requesting to purchase the selected products or services.

An order is considered confirmed once payment has been successfully received and the order has been accepted by Belgstrew.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, including:

The price applicable to your order is the price displayed when you place the order.

Delivery charges are separate unless specifically stated otherwise.

Any applicable taxes, delivery charges or other charges will be shown during the checkout process where applicable.

You agree to provide accurate payment information and confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

Payment must be successfully completed before an online order is confirmed.

10. Promotions & Discounts

From time to time, Belgstrew may offer discounts, promotional codes or special offers.

Each promotion may have its own conditions, including:

Promotional offers cannot be combined unless we specifically state otherwise.

11. Store Pickup

Customers who select store pickup can collect their order from our store at the selected pickup time.

Please make sure that someone is available to collect the order at the scheduled time.

12. Delivery

Delivery is available through third-party delivery partners.

The delivery method depends on the type and size of the order.

Bento cakes may be delivered through services such as Porter or Uber Package.

Standard, custom, large and designer cakes may be delivered through cab-based services such as Uber, Rapido, Ola or inDrive, depending on availability and location.

Delivery charges are calculated separately and may depend on distance, delivery partner pricing, surge charges and other applicable factors.

13. Delivery Collection Requirement

For cab-based deliveries, the driver will call you once they reach your location.

The driver cannot leave the vehicle unattended.

Someone must come downstairs to collect the cake directly from the vehicle.

Customers must ensure that someone is available to receive the cake during the selected delivery slot and remain reachable by phone.

If nobody is available to collect the cake, the driver may have to leave or additional waiting or rebooking charges may apply.

14. Responsibility for Third-Party Delivery

Delivery is performed by independent third-party delivery partners.

Once the cake has been handed over to the delivery partner, Belgstrew is not responsible for damage caused during transportation or by the delivery driver.

We are also not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, delivery partner availability, platform issues or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

However, if you experience a delivery problem, please contact us. We will do our best to assist you and coordinate with the delivery partner where possible.

15. Refunds, Cancellations & Order Issues

Because our cakes are made to order, edible and perishable, refunds, returns and exchanges are limited.

Once an order has been confirmed, refunds are generally not available for change of mind or customer-requested changes.

Damage caused during third-party delivery does not qualify for a refund from Belgstrew.

However, if your cake arrives damaged or there is another issue with your order, please contact us immediately. We will review the situation and do whatever we reasonably can to help find the best possible solution.

16. Intellectual Property

All content on the Belgstrew website belongs to Belgstrew or is used with appropriate permission.

You are responsible for ensuring that the material does not violate another person's copyright, trademark, privacy or other legal rights.

We may refuse to use material that we reasonably believe is unlawful, inappropriate or infringes another person's rights.

18. Customer Reviews & Feedback

If you voluntarily provide feedback, reviews, suggestions or other content to Belgstrew, you give us permission to use that content for legitimate business purposes, including improving and promoting our services, unless you specifically request otherwise where applicable.

You remain responsible for the content you submit.

You must not submit content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent or that infringes another person's rights.

We may remove or refuse to publish content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably consider inappropriate.

Shopify is not responsible for the products we sell, the fulfilment of our orders, the quality of our cakes or disputes between Belgstrew and its customers.
